The sun sets over scenic Piney Lake and Mt. Powell from the Piney River Ranch in the Gore Mountain Range near Vail, Colorado. Piney is one of the most beautiful high mountain lakes in the state and as well as one of the highest lakes with a road leading to it. We were blessed with this awesome view just a short hike from the parking lot. Watching this sunset unfold gave me such a peaceful feeling as I marveled at the Maker's work.
