Longs Peak from Moraine Park Summer - Mountain photography by Aaron Spong The midsummer image of Longs Peak at sunrise is part of a series of all four seasons at this same location. This particular morning was very hazy due to the numerous wildflowers and smoke that has made its way over from Oregon, Washington, and California during the drought of 2015. The early morning lighting on the peak is a very soft pink as a result.
