This colorful sunrise photograph of Mt. Sopris was taken on a cold, wet morning near the town of Carbondale, Colorado. Sopris dominates the view from the highway 133. You can see a light dusting of snow on the peaks as the clouds lift just enough to show the rugged curves of the peaks in autumn.
