The Son of God became a man and gave His life so we could live. He was crucified on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. His blood now cleanses us from our wrongdoing and makes us pure in God's sight. He took our place and satisfied God's wrath against us and our sins. Because of this, Christians have hope of living forever in heaven if we love Him and are obedient to the Gospel.
