About Aaron Spong
Aaron is a Colorado artist and art teacher who specializes in traditional art as well as landscape/wildlife photography. He and his family live on the beautiful Colorado front range with a great view of the Rocky Mountains. As an art teacher, he spends much of his summer vacation time in the mountains hiking, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. It is during these special adventures that he finds his inspiration for many of his drawings, paintings and photographs.
"We make in our measure and in our derivative mode, because we are made: and not only made, but made in the image and likeness of a Maker." - J.R.R. Tolkien
Aaron believes that God is "the great artist," and any efforts that we make to create or copy His glory only pale in comparison to the beauty of His work. No painting or photograph can ever do justice to witnessing the creation in person.
