This is a design of the Colorado State flag with native alpine wildflowers of different colors filled into the sections of the flag. All of these wildflowers were photographed high up in the mountains during my hikes around the state. The blue on top and bottom features the Columbine wildflower. Columbines are the Colorado State Flower. The white stripe in the middle has white Marsh Marigold flowers seen along the rivers and streams above timberline. The red "C" shape features the uniquely shaped Indian Paintbrush wildflowers while the yellow circle in the middle contains Alpine Sunflowers.
