An incredibly unique sunset view of the sun setting behind the Holy Cross Wilderness of the northern Sawatch Range in Colorado. The sun dipped under the cloud layers and peaked out just above the distant mountains long enough to capture a quick panorama with a red line of light stretching across the horizon. Mt. of the Holy Cross is the prominent 14,000 ft. mountain on the left. The Jackson group is at center. God's painting displayed on this evening gave me an intense feeling of peace and serenity before the long climb back to camp in the dark.
