This breathtaking view of the high peaks of Ice Lakes Basin is taken from the summit of Peak 13,309 (also known as "V2") near the historic town of Silverton, Colorado. The super blue/turquoise colored Island lake is at the bottom and Ice Lake is partially visible on the left. Colorado 13ers featured from right to left include: U.S. Grant Peak, V4, Pilot Knob, Golden Horn, Vermillion Peak, and Fuller Peak. Fine art mountain photography by Aaron Spong.
