Description
This acrylic painting features the famous icons of the Front Range of northern Colorado during a springtime sunrise. The Boulder flatirons can be seen center to left of center. The tallest mountain in the distance is the 14,000 ft. Longs Peak with Mt. Meeker directly in front of it. Longs Peak is the only 14er in Rocky Mountain National Park. At just lower right of center the NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) buildings can be seen showing the contrast between man made structures and the awesome size of the giant peaks behind.
