The awe inspiring Lone Eagle Peak stands proud over a clear reflection off of Mirror Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness near the town of Granby, Colorado. This is truly an awesome backpacking destination from the Monarch Lake trailhead with wildflowers,waterfalls,wildlife and rugged mountains all around. We spent two nights in this location watching two very different sunsets. The first night was windy and cloudless making for less than ideal photo opportunities. The second day was much more calm and God presented us with this breathtaking sunset view that didn't last for long!
