Sunrise from high up on Colorado 14er Handies Peak in the San Juan Range near Lake City, Colorado. This hike required a 2:30 am start with a few trail-finding detours in the dark before reaching this beautiful destination. American Peak is the featured mountain with Sloan Lake below it. The yellow flowers in the foreground are called alpine sunflowers.
