The End of Autumn - Rocky Mountain National Park by Aaron Spong
The last light of the evening illuminates the clouds that lift off of Longs Peak to reveal the first snow of the season. A fresh dusting of snow covers the peak and contrasts with the vertical "Diamond" east face of the mountain. Most of the color is gone from the aspen trees allong the hillside, but for a few stands of bright yellow and orange. The sunset on this evening is one of the most colorful and beautiful sights I've ever witnessed!
