Colorado Gold - Dallas Divide

I woke early and drove out to take shots near the Dallas Divide after the first snow of the year in southwest Colorado near Ridgway. I was not alone as dozens of other photographers had the same idea. The morning brought some fantastic views of the high peaks of the Sneffels Range blanketed in pure white with the changing leaves of the aspen trees in the foreground. This has to be one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen!
