The stunning views of Colorado's high country on an early fall morning. The changing golden aspen groves, snow covered high peaks and wide open views make this state my favorite. This panoramic photograph was taken near the town of Ridgway at the Dallas Divide in the Sneffels Range of the San Juan Mountains. I visited this location 3 or 4 times during a week long photography trip into the mountains to see the fall colors, and this area has quickly become my favorite area of the state. Too bad it's not closer to Denver!
