A beautiful horse in a red chestnut winter coat and a light mane walking towards the viewer in a snowy and white winter landscape.
I had been planning on photographing horses in snow for some time, but always seemed to miss my chance. So when a late snowfall came i knew this was my chance, and i knew just where to go to get the shots too.
This beautiful flaxen chestnut horse really stood out with it's red winter coat against the white snow.
As i sat down to take some pictures from a distance he noticed me and started walking over to see what i was doing, resulting in this close up capture.
Black and white picture taken in Sweden using a Canon EOS Mark II.
Edited in Lightroom, Photoshop and Luminar for various enhancements and effects.
